One big effect that the pandemic has had in the Pacific Northwest is on the sheer numbers of campers and hikers and people seeking nature. Thousands are overwhelming many of the pristine areas in the Cascades and Olympics, as well as the coasts. Finding a weekend campsite is nigh impossible. Weekdays are better and not so crowded. Tonight Jamie and I have escaped in our van, for one night only, to camp in the woods over looking the Salish Sea. I am sitting by our fire now, cozy after playing some tunes and drinking some wine. Happy with this late mid week break.
Home again tomorrow with tasks for the weekend. Tomorrow, I am planning to write a response about the recent CDC and FDA changes and recommendations. I want to take my time with it.
Tonight, I share a beautiful video, brought to me by one of my readers, Brenda. Thanks!
Wash your hands, cover your nose, keep safe six, and find some joy.
And finally, my caveat is that this is my experience and my opinions, which are subject to change as more information is available, and not related to the organization I work for. Thanks for reading.
