Fear of change

We are all feeling the upheaval in the world as we face huge challenges. Tempers are short, fear rages, love feels lost, and hope feels dim.

I am going to skip a long post about COVID-19 tonight, and instead share this excellent comic from “the Oatmeal” that explains better than I can about our responses when we are faced with uncomfortable truths.

Then read this post by my friend and wise coach, Kelly Wendorf, about how to call people into a real conversation rather than a debate. That is how the world starts to change.

I know there is so much we can’t control right now. If more of us learn to speak the other’s language and listen more fully, more true communication and healing can happen. Even if it is just one person.

Wash your hands, cover your nose, keep safe six, and call or write that person you were thinking about.
